Enjoy Restaurant Dining from Food Kiosks in World Financial Center Plaza in Battery Park

Three new alfresco food kiosks – featuring the culinary stylings of some of New York City’s best-known restaurateurs – are open for business at the World Financial Center Plaza in Battery Park City, just outside the Winter Garden atrium fronting the Hudson River.
The three kiosks represent the first phase of an array of new dining options that will be coming to the WFC over the next several months. Ed’s Lobster Bar, Harry’s Italian and Quality Burger all bring a fresh and unique dining experience to Lower Manhattan. Each will offer a quick, affordable way to enjoy cuisine from some of the city’s most highly regarded eateries within the picturesque setting overlooking New York Harbor.

The World Financial Center Plaza is truly one of the great outdoor public spaces in Manhattan – especially during the spring and summer months, said Ed Hogan, national director of retail leasing for Brookfield Properties. We’re pleased to offer these exciting new alfresco dining options to our building tenants as well as area residents and visitors.

Ed’s Lobster Bar’s signature dish is a Northeast favorite: the lobster roll. Soups, salads and additional seafood sandwiches round out the menu. Ed’s flagship location is located at 222 Lafayette St. in SoHo.

Harry’s Italian offers a variety of traditional Italian heros such as meatball and chicken parmesan, sausage and peppers, and the special Hero of the Day. Harry’s is a downtown institution, with several Lower Manhattan outposts.

And when you’re not cheering on the local baseball teams in the Bronx or Queens, you can enjoy a ballpark-like menu in Lower Manhattan from Quality Burger , which serves up 100%-natural, grass-fed Angus beef burgers, hot dogs, and their specialty hand-dipped milkshakes. Quality Burger is part of the popular Merchants Hospitality bar and restaurant franchise, which operates locations throughout New York City, including SouthWestNY at the World Financial Center.

The three kiosks will be open for lunch and dinner, 11am-9pm, until October 31. The World Financial Center Plaza is located in Battery Park City, on the west side of Route 9A between Vesey and Liberty Streets. For more information please visit WorldFinancialCenter.com
